Dad would always bring flowers home from the pub for Mum. One Christmas he had gone to get a Xmas tree and forgot all about it till he was in the taxi commuting home. He spotted a tree in a German garden and persuaded the driver to stop while he procured said item so he would not get in trouble from Laura.. Sometimes he would also bring sprouts.😉
